At Prins Chiropractic, before any adjusting happens, a structural analysis of your entire body is performed. This is preceded by a thorough case history and if necessary, advanced imaging, such as X-Ray, CT Scan or MRI.
*These procedures are not performed at our office.

When a joint (spinal or other) is found to have less than normal motion, a specific manual thrust is administered. The direction, speed, depth and angle that are used are the result of years of experience, practice and a thorough understanding of spinal biomechanics. The energy delivered during the thrust may produce a slight “popping” sound from the shifting of gas and fluids in the joint. This sound may be interesting, but is not a guide as to the value or effectiveness of the adjustment. It is similar to the sound made when opening a can of soda. While improving spinal biomechanics can reduce nervous system interferences, virtually all joints of the body can be adjusted to help restore proper function and ranges of motion.

Chiropractic care offers a holistic approach to healing and maintaining optimal health. It focuses on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system, which controls every function and movement in the body. Chiropractors use adjustments and other non-invasive techniques to correct misalignments in the spine, known as subluxations, which can interfere with nerve function and lead to a variety of health issues. By restoring proper alignment, chiropractic care can alleviate pain, improve mobility, enhance overall well-being, and promote the body's natural ability to heal itself.
